Of course, there's no single formula that's going to get you the perfect result. However, we can give you some basic guidelines so that you can tailor your hair and scalp care regimen to your needs.
STEP 1: WASHING YOUR HAIR.
This is an indispensable step. Proper care cannot be imagined without timely and proper cleansing.
Experts advise cleansing hair only as it gets dirty. For example, you should not wash your hair every day just to restore volume to your hair.
You may have heard that shampooing often is harmful, and if you increase the interval between shampoo applications, you can "train" the scalp to produce less sebum. Trichologists agree that this is nothing more than a myth. If at the end of the day hair already looks greasy, then the daily cleansing - your option. The accumulation of sebum, dust and dirt creates a breeding ground for bacteria and can lead to much more significant problems, so neglecting the needs of the scalp is not worth it.
How to choose a shampoo?
Choosing the best shampoo for cleansing depends on the type of scalp. In fact, our main task is to clean it (not the hair itself), the products of the sebaceous glands, the accumulation of keratinized particles and external impurities.
Particular caution when choosing a shampoo requires a sensitive scalp. It will require special products with hypoallergenic composition, passed a thorough dermatological control.

What's the right way to shampoo?
Choose the right temperature. The water does not have to be hot to cleanse properly, on the contrary - steaming the scalp weakens the hair follicles, which can lead to hair loss. In addition, hot water stimulates sebum activity and you have to wash your head more often.
The best option is warm water, 38-40 °C.
Wet your hair properly. Don't just moisturize, but let the entire hair (from root to tip) soak in water. This will help better distribute the shampoo and provide more thorough cleansing.
Lather the shampoo in your hands. Do not apply the shampoo from the bottle to the roots of the hair - pour a sufficient amount (usually 1-2 teaspoons, depending on hair length) into a wet palm and lather up the product before you start to distribute it on the hair. Pay special attention to the root zone: massage it with the shampoo with your fingertips for 1-2 minutes. Then distribute the rest of the foam over the entire length.
Rinse your hair twice. Double-cleaning allows you to achieve maximum softness and smoothness. Thoroughly rinse hair once, repeat the procedure with shampoo. For the second rinse, you can take even less cleanser: it will be much more foamy on the cleansed from the main mass of sebum and styling.
STEP 2: APPLY THE MASK
This is an additional step. You can skip this step of care if your hair is already in excellent condition. However, in cases where additional moisturizing, smoothing and restoring is needed, the mask will be a great help on the way to healthy and beautiful hair.
In what order should the products be applied?
As a rule, after cleansing the hair we apply conditioner without unnecessary hesitation, and then move on to the "heavy artillery" - masks. However, trichologists recommend using these funds in reverse order.
The problem is that shampoo opens the cuticle of the hair, while the conditioner is designed to close the cuticle. Thus, applying the mask after the conditioner is less advisable: when the scales of hair are tightly pressed together, the nourishing and regenerating components in the mask can not penetrate deep down and act only on the surface.
